What is Evil Dominion?

Evil Dominion is an on-going fantasy action-adventure novel series.
A fledgling Villain known simply as Overlord Zed, arrives in the backwater Dominion of Hallowville as he begins to assemble his forces and start his earnest quest towards World Domination.

The Dominions of the Planet are as varied as the people he encounters. So, as he makes a long journey towards an impossible goal, he deals with Heroes, Villains, Cultures, Morality, Relationships, and worst of all, Himself.

I’m never doing a project this long, ever, ever, again. Not to say it wasn’t an immensely fun and satisfying story to write (and I hope you enjoy it, sincerely) but the production pipeline just triples everything, along with… life getting in the way.…

The Coward’s Update

*Sometimes the simplest things become Badguy’s saviour. This box smells funny though.*

Okay… life gets in the way. Everything is tentatively done, but edits are taking substantially more time than thought. (And not just because I’ve dramatically changed writing styles again, to suit a small chapter size format). Of course, we’re talking about Anarchy Circuit here, but there is good news!

In all the time its taking to get through Anarchy Circuit, I have redone each of the books again. Realising some of my redundant flaws (possibly linked to some undiagnosed Autism quirks), I’ve been able to remove a lot of unnecessary baggage in my writing. Don’t look at me like that, it was probably obvious to everyone and I’m only seeing them now. It’s hard to see ones own flaws, but I’m always growing as a writer. I call it the Coward’s Update because I realise it was also based in me not trusting my abilities and readers, so I was the coward here, and I’m taking a step forward.

Rhapsody of Fortune now comes in THREE PARTS, for ease of digestion and physical versions, but I still recommend getting the fully complete version on this site, ideally in PDF. They are now:

As for Anarchy Circuit itself, it is about 70% done in the editing. I might even release the first part early, so keep an eye out for that. Meanwhile, I will also keep working on Annihilation At Hand, and whoa boy… is this one going to be a doozy. In storytelling. I hope not to do something as big as Anarchy Circuit again, please.

The Brute Force Approach

*The Post-Modernist Story is Man vs. Machine. But Dr. Badguy always thought it was always missing an extra step*.

So… I lied on the timeframe. What else do you expect?

To be fair, part ONE of Anarchy Circuit is done. It’s going through the read-throughs and editors right now, but I’ll ideally want to release ALL FIVE PARTS at once. So, please be patient. There will be a sudden influx of content eventually, but for now, I thought I better make this update post.

Even the art is done for the covers of all five issues, and those will be put on the site eventually under all the usual merchandise. Though, two of them are heavily spoilerific art, so expect a bit more coyness when it comes to posting them. The biggest slog is the editing process – my own editing process – where I cross the i’s and dot the t’s myself, before it’s all able to be seen by any mortal eyes. It’ll be done, when my soul recovers.

Though, I have to admit I’m already being rather a bad… guy… hehe. I’ve already started on Book 5. Hereby known and titled as EVIL DOMINION: ANNIHILATION AT HAND. In this book, the team encounter a threat far greater and more mysterious than ever before, the sadistic Kheir, who is determined to spread chaos and misery across the continent. But for what reason? Only Zed – and Zed alone – can know for sure. (I’ll work on the synopsis, I promise. But I think it’ll be one of my finest works.)

As for the website, the links still work, even if it looks like they are degrading even more. I’m not an expert at this website business, but I’ll try again. Hopefully it’ll be fixed by the time someone reads this post.…

A Kernel of an Update

*Villains have been making A.I. for years. Dr. Badguy could barely beat minesweeper.*

Okay, so let’s do this.

The preview for the first chapter of Anarchy Circuit is now up on the website and can be found at the top of the FAQ (along with the other previews).

On the book as a whole, the progress is getting there… but that may be because it has exploded into 5 individual books in one Anarchy Circuit saga. They’ll still be released at once, because I want a singular cohesive story, but I figure releasing shorter but cheaper books would make a more palatable story overall.

I’ve been considering doing the same with Rhapsody of Fortune, turning it into three average sized books instead of two larger ones. Possibly even Brothers of the Sun. The dividing doesn’t change much, but if it makes it more palatable for people, I’m all for it. The full stories will still be able to bought here on the site as either form, but contact me know if you have any strong opinion one way or the other.

As for Anarchy Circuit itself, it is currently on Chapter 44 out of a (predicted) 57. I’m currently in that process of a taboggan going downhill, where everything is laid out and just speeding me towards a climax. Adding editing, checks, art, I am going to say a very loose late September (?) for the release of everything all at once, but even committing to that seems like an insane idea, so I’ll say no more.

I’m also working on adding Character Bios to the site once I’m free enough and competent enough to do so. And an extra special site preview chapter for those that dare venture here. Of course, all my efforts are going into the main books, so those take priority.

I hope what comes next is enjoyable for people as it is for me writing it. Hope to update more, sooner rather than later.

Sidenote: I am trying to sort out the double-button error on the purchase page. I’m not entirely sure what has happened, but the store itself still functions and clicking the first of the buttons does still add the book to your purchase. Please understand until I can fix it.…
